The deputy of Misiones Germán Bordón suffered a serious accident in Brazil that resulted in the death of a family friend. The tragic event occurred on the BR 280 road, near Pato Branco, when the vehicle carrying the tourists crashed, claiming the life of Brenda Ludmila Espíndola, a close friend of the Bordón family.
As for the survivors, local authorities have reported that all are admitted to medical centers, with one of the former deputy's daughters, 24 years old, in critical condition in intensive care. Germán Bordón suffered fractures to his hip, scapula, and collarbone, while his wife sustained minor injuries that are not serious.
Although the exact cause of the accident involving the vehicle carrying the tourists has not yet been determined, it is hypothesized that the car veered off the road and collided with another vehicle in the area. Gastón Roux, director of the Transfer Network, has announced that the victim’s body will be repatriated this Wednesday at noon, and it is expected that the injured will recover favorably to be transferred back to Misiones.
